What is the name of your state? GA I am renting a home.A friend came by one day and a tree limb fell on his car and dented it.My landlords home insurance would not cover it.What are the chances that my friend could take my landlord to court for damages and win?The limb fell due to a strong storm.

Thanks!

Your friend will need to file it on his own insurance under the comprehensive portion of his policy. Comp covers falling objects. If he doesn't have full coverage or atleast comp coverage, sorry but he is out of luck...unless you can prove beyond a shadow of doubt that the tree was diseased and fell due to neglect.
