What is the name of your state? VA
I have an ex-wife who committed identity theft and forgery against me during the period 1998 - 1999. I found out about the crimes in June of 1999 and began filing police reports and letters to creditors. Just about every year thereafter, I have had to deal with some fallout from actions. The law was taking its time in arresting and bringing her to court.

Well, she was finally brought to court and sentenced a week ago. She plead guilty to 4 of the 6 felonies and was given 5 years probation. She owes me $4,000 in fees associated with clearing my name and that is being addressed by restitution. Can someone tell me what are my options on suing her for pain, suffering and damages in civil court?
