What is the name of your state?CA

My ex-husband came to pick up the kids for his visitation and refuses to tell me where he just moved to.What actions should I take?It clearly states in our divorce papers that each parent is to inform the other of any changes in residence or change of phone #'s within 24 hours and I reminded him of that and he still refused to tell me.Please give me some advice on what to do.Thanks!

Does he take the kids overnight or just for the day? If he takes them overnight, I'd be damned if I'd let my kids ride off into the sunset....even if it's with dad.....without knowing where they'll be sleeping that night. You have the right to know where your kids are. Especially if there's an emergency of some kind. Tell him the kids cannot leave with him until he tells you his address and phone number. Then make sure the info he gives you is accurate. If he refuses, then you can hold him in contempt.

Not quite right. ONLY a judge can hold someone in contempt. She can file against him, but he can file against her if she refuses visitation as well. His refusal to comply should, however, be brought to the attention of her attorney.
