My husband purchased a truck back in September of 2004 it broke down 3 days later we had it towed back to the car lot at our expense and they keep for 2 weeks and then the last part of october it broke down again in IN. we again had it towed paying for towing. They said they fixed it again kept for weeks we got it back on Dec 22, 2004 it broke down again we had it towed to car lot they paid this time. They are being really mean about this whole situation and they told us if we seek legal action their lawyers will "eat us alive" We need some legal advise so we can at least take something back to them. I guess they think they can push us around. We are hard working people that just want a vehicle that runs. We have already in a bad financially situation due to this and the car lot says oh well we will get to it when we get to it. It 10:18 am in Texas and my husband just called and on Christmas Eve they (Ryan the service manager) said it would be ready Monday the 27th and now they are saying it wont be until late Wednesday the 29th. What are my rights as a consumer. please advise.
