What is the name of your state? CA

I recently established a living trust. I am one week from close of escrow on home purchase. Will transfer property into trust at close. I am trustee for "xx" trust established for privacy. The lender had no problem and will fund into the name of the trust.

PROBLEM: TITLE INS. CO.MUST RESPOND TO THEM EARLY TOMORROW MORNING, TUES.,JUNE 27th to close on schedule. Told today they cannot process in the name of the "xx trust" without also including my name as trustee!

This was first I'd heard of this and seemed somewhat contrary to my establishing trust and keeping some privacy as result. My understanding was that this was not that uncommon and could be done at my request as buyer.

WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS HERE ON MAINTAINING PRIVACY AND COMPLETING TRANSACTION? ANY SUGGESTIONS APPRECIATED!

What does your trust attorney say? I don't know how my sister's deed and title insurance are listed, but property tax lists her name followed by "Living Trust". What verification would anyone have that you are authorized to control your trust or sell the property if your name is not somehow associated with it.

You certainly want to do it right so you do not lose control of your own property. Another poster listed a trustee on the deed that was to take over after their demise, instead of their own name. They did not know what to do when that trustee disappeared.
