need help fast

My common law husband has just decided to end our relationship. We live in montreal, Quebec. We have a 9 month old son together which I will be taking with me as he does nothing to care for him. My problem is that he wants us out NOW. I have nowhere to go yet, it takes time to find a new place, buy furniture etc. Can he throw us out? The house is his, put in his name well before the 2 of us got together. I can not afford a hotel in downtown Montreal for a couple of weeks and he will not give me access to the car.
