What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? VA/CO
6 years ago that I used to pay for a personal training certification. Forgot about it and apparently they had taken me to court back in VA (didn't get a notice since I have now moved) and placed a garnishment on my only account. My accounts now frozen and I can't get anything out of it. I called a number the bank had given me several times. Half the time they don't answer me. This morning I told the lady that I had enough in the account to pay in full and asked if there was any way they could take it out. Lady told me that they should be able to take care of it if they can get the amount in full but that the person that could do it was not in the office. Called back after hearing nothing and another rep said she was too busy and just took my number. Called Midland Funding who was supposed to be in charge of the debt and they told me there was nothing they could do and my account would be frozen until the November 4th court date. Is there anything I can do? That's my only account and I can pay in full so I assumed that there would be something I could work out. Stressing me out pretty hard because I literally have no access to any of my money
