 Tennessee state:
I am trying to get paperwork ready to prove as to one of MANY reasons why I moved out of state (85 miles away from OP). I need to get documents from the Dept. of Children Services proving that they were being called on me and showing up at my home on a weekly basis and all the allegations were unfounded. They have told me that I have to supina these documents. In order to do that must I HAVE to hire a private attorney? I have 2 kids and my Fiance has 3 and at the present time I have no financial way of doing so at all. PLEASE HELP

Sometimes you can subpoena on your own. Check your states codes and gov. forms online.

BUT I don't think a good reason to move is to avoid Children's Services investigations! Typically moving should be to better the life of your child.

Now as I stated before this only ONE of the MANY reasons for my move. Please don't judge me just because you just lightly looking over part of what was wrote on here. I was in a very violent and stressful situation before I moved. I just needed to know if I can get these papers w/o paying yet another lawyer's fee that I can't afford. Should have to stay in a certain place when my life is being threatened and the cops still can't/wont do anything just because my childrens father lives there? Which the only time he ever came around was to show up threaten me, flatten my tires, steal mine and my childrens clothes off the line, threaten to put illegal substances in my car so that I would be sent to jail. There is just so0o0o much to write. So I say again please don't judge me just because you missed something while reading my thread.

Being snippy won't encourage anyone to help you figure out the answers to your questions. And yes, I am perfectly capable of reading what you wrote- Are You capable of receiving an answer about the topic you brought up on this thread? If you bring up other topics in other threads, you will get (& have gotten) other answers.

In this post you mentioned ONE reason (only stating there were others) and I responded that THAT reason would not be a good one in the eyes of the court. The reasoning is that if you have nothing to hide- you have no reason to run.

Now help yourself or rely on someone else who's willing to deal with your rude remarks.

PS I made no judgement of you, but if you'd like, I'll offer one up.

I am not being snippy. I thank you for the first part of your reply but you more or less stated that my one reason posted was to avoid the investigation of Children's Services. If that was the case why in the heck would I be contacting them??? I understand that these people have to come check on the welfare of a child if they have been given reason to believe that a child may be in danger or for any reason they see fit. This was not the way it was in my case. I saw these people so often that we were on a first name basis and they would come over laughing because they knew for a fact that these were crazy allegations but still yet had to make sure that the children were not in harms way. They had even stated themselves that they may have to look into the person calling to have me investigated questioned as to why they were reporting all of these false allegations but that never happened. ALL I NEED TO KNOW IS HOW CAN I OBTAIN THESE DOCUMENTS OR IF I CAN DO SO WITHOUT HIRING A LAWYER?

As the first response stated go down to your local courthouse and get the forms for a supeona. My state allows a party to supeona records. If your state will allow it they are easy to fill out then you file them for the judge to sign and grant the supeona. Have CPS served and they should hand over the records.
