What is the name of your state? Florida

I bought a house with a family member about a year ago. We both paid half of the costs and split the down payment. We both live in this house. The mortgage is in my family members name only. All of the utilities are in my name. Now were having personal issues and my family member is threating to sell the home and put me out.
I want to keep the home as my children and I are happy here.
Do I have a leg to stand on here?

You don't say if the deed is in your name or not. In any event, you must get a lawyer to protect your interests.

Real estate deals must be in writing to be enforceable; BUT, since you put money up for this land, a lawyer may be able to help.
