My girlfriend has lived as wife for 19 years to a man from Iran. Their daughter is 16 and has ms and scoliois. Anyway, last week he died and his first wife says that she is the wife. The man who died came to this country in 1972 with his first wife and they had two daughters here in the US. Since he was married in Iran, he went back to Iran in 1979 and got a divorce. He set up a home with my friend Susan in 1982 and they have had two businesses since.

Does anyone know if the divorce in Iran is legal and also how my friend would go about getting a copy of the paper? Also, the first wife says that the businesses are hers even though she has had nothing to do with them and my friend has worked to build the businesses.
