I live in florida, and recently, signed a lease on a place i belived to be large enough to accomidate me and my things, but when i recieved my keys,i went to check out my place and realized it was to small and would not work out with the size and made no sense to move in.Just wouldnt work.So immidently following that,i went back to rental agency and told them my problem. They told me i would be responsible to pay until they could get another tenet.Thats sounds about right to me but i dont want to get screwed.I have not lived in this place one day, didnt even move in one piece furniture in,,Is there anything i could do to save some money on my end,,please any help would be much appriated.

Should've looked at it first before signing the lease. No excuse there...

That is correct... You are responsible for the remainder of the lease, ALL months, until it terminates. You will still need to give written notice of your intent to vacate as well!

If you understand, than what's the problem?

What does that matter? You signed a legally binding document stating you would pay X amount for X many months. It does not matter if you moved in a single item or spent less than 5 minutes in the unit.

You can help by actively searching for a person to reside in the unit, but you need to realize that the LL/manager does NOT have to accept whom you pick as a replacement...
