What is the name of your state? Ohio

I am in a messy divorce, we filed chapter 7 a year and a half ago. I was left with the house which i am unable to keep. It is set to forclose soon. Will i still be responsible for the amount left over after the forcloseure even though i filed chapter 7 a year and a half ago. Hope someone can help.
Thanks

Ignore debtguy since he's an idiot.

Did you sign a reaffirmation agreement for the mortgage during your bankruptcy case? If not, your responsibility to repay the debt is non-existent.

If you did sign a reaffirmation agreement, you are liable for the debt.

If you don't remember if you signed or not, contact your bankruptcy attorney or check PACER to see if you signed.

Good luck.
