I want to sue a company in small claims court, but I don't know which court to file my claim. The company is located in Massachusetts and the agreement to pay me 1,000 dollars was made in connecticut. I was told by a representative of a siding company that if I got him another job to do he would pay me 1,000 dollars. Now the job I got for him was also in Massachusetts but he refuses to pay me. I also have the agreement in paper signed by the representative. I want to file a claim for the 1,000 dollars plus aggrivation, but I don't know which state or town to file it in. Could someone please help me. Thanks in advance Steve

Are you considering action against the 'representative' who entered the agreement or the company??? If the company, you may have a big problem trying to link the rep's committment to being a company committment, unless you can show that he had the corporations authority to enter into contracts.

So, assuming that your action is against the individual, sue him in the state where he has assets to seize in the event of a judgment.
