texas laws pertaining to home ownership of mortaged property after death of spouse? bought house with spouse, spouse passed away in 98 , refinanced house 2001 in my name only , does property become sole property of mine or is it to be split between myself and step-child who is 30 years old ... home is financed through VA loan .........had to send in death certificate to refinance house

I already know that. What I need to know is the tenancy ie. tenancy by the entirety
or tenancy in common.
If TE, the surviving spouse gets the property, if TC the property is subject to Probate court jurisdiction.
