What is the name of your state?Louisiana
My son and his ex-grilfriend had a baby when they were both 16 years of age they were both in high school she quit he continued to further his education then a few years later they broke up she left with the baby filed for child support he now pays the support but he has not spent time nor seen the child from the time she left he avoids seeing the child because of the mother and she wants to have rules that if we want to see the child we have to follow her rules so we just don't pay no mind nor even try do you think it's best if we just go the legal way and hire an attorney to get the help we need in order to get visitation.

Depending on how long its been since your son has seen his child, he may have to deal with seeing the child in the mother's presence at first, even if you hire an attorney and go the legal route. (Which IS the wise thing to do)

Until your son has enforceable visitation orders mom can make all the rules that she wants.

My response:

This is what trailer trash, skanky, people do. I'm sure you're used to it by now.
