What is the name of your state? NY
About three weeks ago I made plans to hangout with my friend. She called and told me to pick her up at this apartment I had never been to before. After I picked her up we were supposed to be going to meet some other friends. I arrived at the apartment to pick her up...I knew she said she was at a party but I wasn't very concerned because I was only going to pick her up. I was literally there no more then 10 minutes when the cops came!(I hadn't had anything to drink either) They asked everyone for id because there was a lot of alcohol there. I was scared but gave them all the information they asked for. They said that everyone was going to get cited for underage drinking. I told them that I had just arrived and that I hadn't had anything to drink and they could gladly give me a breathalizer test. They said they believed me but by law they had to cite everyone under 21 yrs and they let me drive home after recieving my information.(I am 19 years old)This party took place in PA and I am a NY state resident. Other kids have gotten phone calls last week and I still haven't recieved mine or anything in the mail. I have no criminal history or record. I admit I was in the wrong place at the wrong time...what should I do...and what should I expect? Will my license get suspended in PA or NY or both? And should I attempt to fight it if I do get called or something in the mail? Thanks concerned in NY

How do you know (i.e., what piece of paper do you have) that says you have been charged with an offense?
