Will a negative history of visitation affect a custody trial?
There's a court order for my ex to see my kids one evening a week and one 24 hour period each weekend. For the past six weeks, the ex did not make arrangements to see the kids and the time on the weekends have been less and less. The ex filed for joint custody and the trial is next month. Obviously, this violates the court order.
My question, is if the ex can't handle a simple visitation arrangement, how can the ex handle a joint custody arrangement? Will the court consider this in it's decision?
