What is the name of your state? Vt...as you all know I posted a question in regards to my withdrawing as a partner, and issues of money given. Well, here is another question. Is a contract of withdrawal void if the agreement/withdrawal notice to partners had two clauses in regards to withdrawing and only one clause was fufilled, and not the second clause? The withdrawal was a week's notice on condition of these two clauses. One I was paid in full, and two I was removed from lease of property. The second clause is still not met. Can I return the money they paid me and say the withdrawal is now void due to a breach of the withdrawal??? Thanks Faith

No, you do not have that power. You can sue for recission, but I don't see that as a proper remedy for what you have described. That doesn't mean you won't get it, it just means we would need to see the whole contract to give advice.

The problem is I am not off the lease of the business still, and that was one of the conditions of my withdrawal...it has not happened yet and it has been almost a month since my withdrawal. I spoke with the landlord and he has received nothing in regards to releasing me from lease. I am wondering if the withdrawal is now void, since being released from lease was part of my weeks notice. Thanks
