Need second parent adoption information

I cannot find any information on the web about what Florida has for adoption laws. My long term partner and I want to him to adopt my daughter from my previous mariage. My ex has agreed to this, but we aren't ready to get married (it costs too much). We share a daughter together. I am trying to fine out where Florida stands on second parent adoption. Any helpful information you can give me is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
