My mother is disabled and requires therapy massage once a week for releif.Her insurance notified her 2yrs ago that they would settle with her for $2k, one lump sum.Just last week she received another notice from the ins.rep..This time offering $10k. It seems to me if she held out for another 2yrs she would double it, and so on.If she did want to settle at this time, what would be an appropriate settlement without jeopardizing her other assets and savings on this issue?
