What is the name of your state? CA

I would like to know if i qualify for any type of legal status here in the states. I've been here my whole life. Ever since 1988 or 1989. I'm 20 years old. I finished high school successfully. I attend community college. No one in my family has any kind of legal status here. Well, only a half-brother. He is a US citizen. I have no criminal past or record. I'm from Mexico. Is there any kind of help for me? Any amnesty that can protect me? Any kind visa/permit i can qualify for?

Nope. Theoretically, the INS could "sweep" your school at any given moment, and send you packing back to sunny ol' Me-he-co.

I also wanted to say, does your family know how many times the Government has had "amnesty" applications in the last 20 years? All they had to do was spend a day standing in line at the Federal Building, and you, and everyone else in your family, could have been legalized! But, obviously, your family blew it.

It was broadcast on T.V., Radio, Newspapers, etc. Someone in your family needs a swift kick in the groin!

Yeah. i kind of figure that. But they never did much. Kind of sucks for me now that i have to deal with this. Do you think that my half-brother can do something for me? he is a legal citizen here and has been here for as long as me?
