Need urgent conversion advice

What is the name of your state? GA

I filed Chapter 13 in August of last year and have had my trustee payments deducted from my paycheck ever since. After looking over my finances I am wanting to convert to a Chapter 7. My questions are:

1. Would I have to pay the full Chapter 7 amount to my attorney as if I never filed Chapter 13?

2. Does the October 17 deadline apply to those wanting a conversion from Chapter 13 to 7?

If question #2 is a "yes", I'm worried if my attorney will have enough time to convert my 13 to a 7. He is out of town until Oct. 6th!!! Of course nothing has changed with my bills so would it take very long for him to file a conversion??

You have an attorney who is already intimately familiar with the specifics of your case. Why not ask him?? His answer will be far better than any of our 'general' answers.

I do plan on asking him. But the reason I asked here is because he is out of town until the end of the week. I was hoping to get some advice here since the Oct. 17th deadline is rapidly approaching. I wasn't sure if he will have enough time to file a conversion.
