What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Michigan
I signed a years lease thinking that my boyfriend would move in with me and help me pay. However, he couldn't find a job in this area and moved to Colorado to work with his dad. I went to my landlord in April when I had been there for 2 months and she told me there was no way to get out. The longer I stay here the more and more in debt I get. I need to know how to get out of this lease without it going against my credit. Please help!

1) Kiss and make up w/ your bf so he can help w/ rent.
2) Get a roomie w/ the LL's permission.
3) Negotiate a buyout w/ the LL.
