What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Tennessee

I married on 8/4/10 in VA. My husband lived in DC. He decided to move to TN. On 11/01/10 he went home to DC so that he could spend thanksgiving with his sister so he said, but I knew when he left it was because TN was not his scene. I have stability here and he is somewhat of a drifter in DC and lives from family member to family member. Our marriage was never consummated. He left 4 days after I had a pacemaker implanted in my chest. Well let me shorten this. I draw disability, he's trying to get disability because he says he's to old (55yrs. old) to work and it's his money and he's going to fight them until they give him his money. I want this marriage over. I live in Nashville TN and can't afford and attorney. Where do I go from here?

He's going to be in for a surprise if he thinks he can get disability solely because of his age. I'm not much younger than him and expect to be working for well over another decade.

However, that's really no relevant for such a short term marriage. File for divorce and go your separate ways. This site might help:

Click on the divorce tab.

You mention not having consummated the marriage. That generally doesn't matter. HOWEVER, if your stbx is truly impotent and you could prove it, then you MIGHT be able to get an annulment rather than a divorce:

I would NOT, however, recommend going down that path. The annulment will take longer and cost more than a divorce and will also undoubtedly create a lot more animosity and anger on both sides. Just get the divorce and be done with it.
