Me and my husband got custody of our 2 yr old granddaughter bk in Jan. And now the other grandparents are threating to take us to court for visitation. I have no problem letting them visit but the other grandma told the daughter that her and grandpa got into a argument and the grandpa drew a gun on the grand mother and she was holding the 2 yr at the time. Of course now she says she never told her that. We've let the baby go visit before we found this out so now I'm between a rock and hard place, I dont know what to do. I'm scared something bad might happen if we let her go again but then again it may not, you never know. So if anyone knows if they can sue for visitation please let me know.:(

if things are that out of control over there- I would let them see kiddo as much as they want in your home, and otherwise wait for them to take you to court, then deal with it

I agree with Zepher, however, I will tell you that yes, the grandparents have standing to sue for visitation, and since you are grandparents with custody, its almost guaranteed that they would win visitation unless you can actually prove that there is domestic violence in their home.
