Negative Feedback left in retaliation

What is the name of your state? CA
I purchased an item on Ebay 5/8. Seller sent me shipping notification (she basically created a label via Paypal). Item not received as of 5/27. Tracked the shipping info and it states that only label was created and no further info on receipt of package. It was supposed to be mailed out USPS Priority Mail on 5/9. Priority takes 2-3 days, I gave her 10 days before inquiring about it. Some emails were not responded to. On 5/27, I questioned her about her negative feedback about not mailing items, she got really upset (she had about 3-4). I asked for refund which she refused to do so so I filed a complaint via Paypal and Ebay. She then left a negative feedback stating that I was accusatory. I filed complain with SquareTrade to get my negative feedback taken out.

I am out of the money, the item and now stucked with negative feedback. According to Ebay policy, they cannot remove negative feedback even if it's out of retaliation. I had 100% positive feedback before this. I am upset because I take my feedback very seriously. What are my other recourse? I know it seems like a silly matter but I think it's unjust.

We don't give a crap about your e-bay problem. Got a problem? Take it up with e-bay.

When you buy and sell over the Internet, across State lines, to unseen and unknown people, you deserve everything you get.

Next time, you'll buy and sell locally - - try the newspapers.

Negative feedback has never hurt anyone and 100% feedback is way overrated. Doodoo happens and life goes on, get on with yours.

Negative feedback

Did you leave your feedback yet? If not, leave one (negative of course,) and then you can go through ebay, and see if this seller will agree to remove feedback mutually.

Also, go to the feedback forum, and click on the respond to feedback left, and you can leave your reply to her claim. Good-luck.

Some members need to grow up on this site.

Some people depend on the advice of others, and do not deserve the nasty replies. They do not need to be told that they are "idiots." Apparently, something is lacking in your life, that is why you spend your entire day responding to issues of others, with your childish comments. Grow up, and get a life!

I suggest on Ebay you should always get delivery confirmation and insurance if its a pricey item. I sent out an item too ... supposedly a buyer never got it posted a negative feedback and that was that. She asked for a refund right away but I couldn't refund the money since she didn't give it enough time. I'm sure she got the item because I haven't heard anything from her either. I had 100 feedback too but hey it wasnt my fault.
Next time ...research who you are dealing with. Did she have 100 percent feedback too?
