What is the name of your state? nc My neighbor has accused my family for damage to an inflatable pool. She has took out a no contact order for stalking and nonconsensual sexual misconduct. The thing that started it all was her son and my daughter got into a fuss and name calling insued from it. Her live in boyfriend is in prison right now on a drug charge and since he has been in which has been about 5 months she has had another man coming over just about every night and one morning I got up with my husband to carry him to work so that I could keep the car well my husband leaves about 4:30 AM and I was in the car waiting on him because he had walked out to our building to get something and he noticed lights next door and it turned out to be the man who had been visiting next door and he had parked on the other side of the house well when he passed by our house he seen that we seen him and every since then she has been trying to get us in trouble. The pool sits right up against the back of the house and she wrote in her complaint that her dog had been barking for quite awhile and the next day she found pin holes in her pool. and she wrote that they hid behind it. My question is why didn't she call the police? My husband has been at the same job for 22 years and he does not have any charges against him for anything and neither do I. What can we do legally? I consider what she wrote as slander and defimation of character am I right?" Someone one please help us
