We purchased some property last month. The
property is overgrown with brushes and trees. While clearing the land, the owner of the property ajacent to us came over and asked if he could bulldose where the property meets. He said it would bulldose only one foot into our property.
We said okay as long as he pushed the downed
trees and brushes to the back of our property, which is five acres. He also asked
if we would go halves for a new fence. We said not yet, because we needed to build a
house first, and money was an object.
Well, he bulldosed about five feet into our
property taking down a pole that we didn't want down, and did not bulldose the trash
to the back like we requested. To cut this
short, he was extremely angry when he came
over and started on us again about contributing to build the fence. He told us
he didn't want anything of ours on his property..like tree limbs or brushes , and he including us. We told
him that we would not let anything get onto
his property, and we expected the same from
him. We told him we didn't want him on our property. He said, "What do you plan on doing about it?" My husband said, "Call
the police." He looked floored by what
my husband said. Now, he is going around
telling the neighbors that "we" are "very
mean" people.
By the way, he works for the District
Attorney.
My question is what can we do about him
coming over onto our property? We are
not always there.
