What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

one of my neighbors works for my landlord. he has lived there 4 years and worked as the property manager and repair guy there.

recently he drew a penis in the wet cement on the property and then called and reported it to the police, accusing my roommate of doing it. there are some other indications that he is mentally unstable... ANYWAY, we argued and I told the landlord i did not want him to speak to me anymore on account of that and some other odd sexual things that he said to me. the landlord told me the guy would not speak to me ever again. I also expressed myself in an email the best i describing stuff he did to the landlord and told him i wanted him fired. the property manager told me he no longer worked there.

since then there have been about 4 instances of harrassment. not assualt/battery.

the landlord told me that he was going to end my lease for july. it's a month to month lease. i am glad to get out of this place now. mainly i mention it because it stands out.

yesterday the guy was in the next apartment with the property manager doing repairs. he ran out to me and said he could do whatever he wanted because he lived there an he worked there.

does anyone know what legal recourse i have. i have already contacted the police and have a case and am looking into a restraining order.

meanwhile, the property manager lied and said he was fired after i told her i was not safe with him there. i know that's illegal.

how is my landlord legally resonsible for the people he hires in this situation and how they interact with the tenant. which of my tenant rights are significant in this situation? if something happens i would like to be able to sue the landlord. what can i do?
