neighbor's callling insurance co. and Kennel

What is the name of your state? NH
I recently received a letter from our home owners insurance stating that they were droping our coverage due to "claims". one of the claims is correct the other is a false one put in by my neighbor.
Is it legal to contact someone else's home owners insurance directly? this person didn't even go to our local rep. this person called around till she found out who insures us and then called them. Is that legal?
This person also called around till she found out who kennels our dog and then made negative statements about my dog and my family to the kennel provider. Our towns' animal control officer resigned because he couldn't deal with her any more- he said so in his resignation!!!.
This person has made my children so uncomfortable that they will not play outside because this person can see them.
Life in our house is very uncomfortable because this person simply will not leave us alone.

Best guess is to just find a new insurance co and make sure you send a letter to the first one registered mail asking them for proof of this claim. One thing for sure if your nieghbor is that nuts then maybe you better invest in a video recording system that will keep a eye on the kids and let you record all activity in your own yard while being able to moniter it when your doing various task in the house. As far as a new insurance co goes I would suspect that you should tell no one who the company is so it never is let out by accident from one nieghbor to another. As far as this person saying negative things you know if your in a smaller community if you just politely tell any who comment about things they heard ` its not true` and change the subject they likely will get the hint and figure out that the person is a nut on there own. AS far as the towns animal control officer goes well thats too bad I know what its like to have someone drive one so nuts that one wants out of a job to end the problem. SO have you sought out information on what it would take to become your towns new animal control officer ? Sounds like you could have a job waiting for you ~ If you feel that you must by all means speak to a atty about this persons bad behaviour so you can learn what you can legally do to end it incase she goes into full fledged psycho stalker mode. BTW I am serious about using a video system to record your propertys activitys. if she ever gets as nuts as to come on to your property and torment the dogs or bother your children you will have proof then.
