I filed chapter 7 NY 1998. Many of the debts were from CA where I had lived for many years prior to returning to NY. I now live in PA. This year I had an unexpected windfall! My sister said that she heard that any monies received within 7 years of filing were subject to collection by my creditors listed on the bankruptcy. Is this true?
