I recently bought a boat in CA. Put a down payment and signed papers. Having second thoughts and would like to back out. I have not picked the boat up, however, signed the contract about a month ago. Is there anyway of getting out. Please help.

If the contract was valid, then you are stuck with it according to its terms. That is the purpose of contracts. In some states, buyers are given a day or two to change their minds about certain purchases, such as a home. But there is no such law in California, and none anywhere that would allow you to cancel a valid contract after more than a few days.
