What is the name of your state? Hawaii.
Aloha, I posted here yesterday about Hawaii Lemon Laws, and was directed to some great web sites regarding the state law.
I'm sorry to say I need alittle hand holding. Bought a Suzuki grand vitara 2004. Has been in the shop 5 times regarding the same issue. The brakes. They make alot of noise. At first i was like, no problem. But the issues are not being resolved.

It has gotten to the point where I am imbarrased when I pull up to a stop light.

My question..... would this be considered a condition..... or would I be laughed out of arbirtation?

I wanted to car for sooo long, and now I wish I bought a Toyota....

Can anyone offer suggestions..
Thank you

give me some breaks

I worked at a toyota dealership (sales) for 10 years. Though you don't make it clear, I'm guessing that brake noise (squeal) is the issue, and that you have semi-metallic pads. If I'm right, you might try to get them to buy and install more expensive pads, although if this was a new vehicle they certainly don't have to. Semi-metallic pads are part metal, part "rock" and are cheaper This was a big issue with a lot of used vehicles we sold with the s-m pads(not sado-macho).

There is absolutely NO safety issue involving these pads-only potential noise issues
