My new house closed in August. It has been leaking since November. Builder has gone out of business to start new company & could care less about me. They have come by every other month to look it over or do a few repairs, but I want it done now! Do I have a case?

I would say that your remedies are to be found in the documents you signed to buy that home from that builder. He may have various defense that you need to be aprised of at your earliest opportunity. He is apparently acknowledging the responsibility based on what you wrote. For he has been out a couple times to make some repairs. However, if he is out of business your remedies may be more limited. The bottom line is for you to meet with a real estate attorney near you to see what you can do. You can find one at attorneypages.com.
