My sister is in a 2 yr lease, the landlord has sold the property and now the new landlord has taken over, just yesterday the new landlord decided to change the power bill into her name (landlord) from my sisters name, without even telling her until she had already changed it. Is there anything that my sister can do about this? She feels that she could be charged more or even not pay the bill to keep her power on, her lease is up in February? We reside in the state of Ga.

Have Sis call the power company to put it back into her name. Give a copy of the lease agreement to them as proof of a lease arrangement and that the tenant pays the electricity.
