What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? ARIZONA
Hello, My landlord is away for a few months to work in New York City. I live in a duplex and a new tenant moved in. He told me he would get a cat friendly dog and he got a pit bull that escaped three times and even wrapped itself around my legs 1 time. He said it would never get out again and once again threatened my cats(Which all live indoors) Their are several cats in the neighborhood and he wanted to know who every cat was and who they belonged to. He said they sprayed on his cadillac(1978??) and his washer and dryer. I called the police when the argument escalated one morning. He took off in his car when he saw the police. I called my landlord and left a message
on his cell phone that I was getting a restraining order on the new tenant. I did not get a response. To make matters worse, his stepson , who lives next door is on pre-trail for supposedly beating his three weeks old baby almost to death.(bleeding in the brain) He also got four dogs all of a sudden which are not too friendly. I cannot afford to move at the moment and am very confused on what to do!!!!! Salenn THis is not an HOA Community

Document ALL events and call the police or animal control when needed.

Has the dog(s) lunged at your, or threatened you in anyway?

I've seen laws that were breed-specific to be ruled unconstitutional. The laws have been changed to be dangerous dogs instead.
