CAN I LEGALLY LEAVE A LEASE RENTED WITHOUT A CO OR INSPECTION WITHOUT RETALIATION FROM LANDLORD? I WAS TOTALLY UNAWARE AT THE LEASE SIGNING.:mad:AMONG NOT FIXING THINGS I DONT FEEL SAFE HERE WITHOUT INSPECTIONS, THE HOUSE IS VERY OLD AND I WOULD BET NEEDS NEW WIRING ETC....

Dro Whom has told you from the govt that the house is not fit to live in ?? It might not be a NEWER code but still can meet a older code and be fine. newer codes spell out exactly when a LL must make certiain changes so a unit meets a newer code. If your needing to move go talk to your LL.
