I'm from NJ. I can't believe this is happening
I got an order from the Municipal court of Newark, NJ claiming I owe 335 for a parking ticket from 1991, which I paid in 1997, paid it off via a payment plan. However City of newark is telling me unless I can produce that receipt my license will stay suspended until I pay it again.
I asked them didn't they need to notify me a suspension was pending, they said they did, in 1997!!!! Isn't there any law about givig notice for suspensions before just yanking licences? Statue of limitations? Please help!!
