When I was hired, I was told that I would be given a certain amount of stock in the company as a sign-on bonus. I later found out, after pushing the HR department for answers, that this company isn't even vested! I was told that it was, and that I would get my stocks when I was hired. A week ago, I FINALLY got an employment contract (that I was supposed to get in June when I was hired) that basically said I had to work at the company for a year before I got my stock, and then it wouldn't even be the full shares I was promised. What do I do?

Find a new job. They don't sound like people I'd want to be working for.
