NJ Urban Enterprise Zone grant: My question is If I am a member of the Urban Enterprise Zone Business, and I applied for a grant and I submitted all my confidential information to the officer in charge. After waiting for a month to be approved, the officer came back with his own contractor and told me that he wanted me to go with his contractor. This contractor never gave me a propsal, nor did I recieve anything from him. When I told this officer that I had already chosen a contractor and submitted a proposal from him (i.e. estimate) the officer told me, after I had been approved to recieve gorvernment grant to fix up my business, that I wasn't approved anymore?!? Is that legal and due i have any case against them? Like what are my options..how do I get the government to give me a grant that I deserve?
