I recently bought a used car from a used car dealership. Right off the bat there were 2 problems that needed to be fixed for 600$. Since we purchased the car so cheaply we decided to pay that anyway. Its now been 2 weeks and coolant has started leaking, the heater doesnt work, and the convertible top has stopped working. The dealer has not even given us the titleship or registration yet. He told us that we would recieve a third party warranty card in the mail that could be used as a credit card to fix some problems, but I dont think my problems are covered, nor have I received this card yet.

I plan on just taking the car back to the dealer tommarrow, but what are my chances of getting a refund? Is there anything I can do to get my money back or was I just robbed of it? The amount to have the car fixed at this point would be more than I spent on it... Please tell me there is some law that protects me...

Thanks to anyone who took the time to read this.

You are not getting a refund, you bought a used car.

Please clarify. You left with a car that is not even registered to you? How did you get a plate? Are you driving this car on a dealer plate illegally? Did you finance this car?

You say you have a warranty that is like a credit card? It doesn't happen like this!

You better DEMAND your registration and so called aftermarket 'warranty info' and go somewhere else to have it fixed.
