I purchased a web product and credit card service recently. The sales person sold me on getting financing through another company. This financing was established on a Non Cancelable Lease. At the time this not bother me because the sales person said that if I did not want the service in the future I could sell it and her company would help me! Keep in mind that the Finance company and Sales Company are two different organizations! Well it turns out that the Service and support for this product was BAD! I called to find out if they would help me sell or cancel and the sales company said they would not! I tried other methods of selling and could not! I have stopped using the product but can not cancel the service AND the Finance company is harassing me daily over the phone and are going to sew me in another state were they KNOW I can not attend court. Do I have any RIGHTS????????

You always have rights but sometimes it costs more to assert them than is at stake. You can always sue for defective service and products, usually in your state. But in terms of the finance company, I think you are in trouble vis a vis them. You should have had the contract reviewed in advance, but it is not too late now. Also, a Business Legal Plan may help.

Noncancelable lease

I encountered this same situation. I asked a friend of my family's, who is a lawyer (in a different state than I am) and he said the noncancelable lease was an adhesion contract and is not valid or not enforceable in most states. How do I find out if this contract is not enforceable in my state (I live in Missouri) and what steps can I take to get this creditor to quit harassing me for payment?
