I recently had my car hit in a parking lot. No witnesses. I was at work. When I took the car for estimates, every body shop asked what was wrong with the paint. The paint faded quickly on the sides of the car. I find out both sides of the car were painted. I bought the car new in 96'. The warranty is still on the car for one more month. The dealer does not want to take responsibility. Any suggestions?

Absolutely document the damage with photos and the name os witnesses. Immediately contact the regional representative of the manufacturer and be vigorous in your pursuit of a remedy and go up the line until you get satisfaction. ALso, call or write to CarTalk.com
