I recently had my car hit in a parking lot. No witnesses. I was at work. When I took the car for estimates, every body shop asked what was wrong with the paint. The paint faded quickly on the sides of the car. I find out both sides of the car were painted. I bought the car new in 96'. The warranty is still on the car for one more month. The dealer does not want to take responsibility. Any suggestions?

I am not sure what you are asking. If you are asking whether you should hold the dealer's feet to the fire concerning the paint job, that is your choice. There is a warranty on that right? You will have to read the warranty carefully and see if the dealer is right by denying coverage under it. If you disagree with that decision, then you will have to follow whatever dispute resolution process is agreed to under the warranty.

Often warranties state that the parties will agree to go through arbitration or mediation to resolve any disputes. So if that is the case here, then get ready to do that.

As far as the property damage aspect goes, I presume you are taking care of that so I offer no advice on it.
