What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Georgia
The order is still in the process of being worte. I just got custody of my kids a week ago. My question is her lawyer used my last two years (overtime) to come up with my gross income. I have time cards as well as my pay stubs that show I have not worked an hour of overtime in over 6 months. I’m not trying to get more child support from her I just want the true numbers to be used in the child support work sheet. I know that lawyers and the Judge can deviate for the work sheet to make the numbers work. I also have a letter from my HR office stating that I will not be working any extra hours. My lawyer says it’s not a big deal because she is paying me child support but on the other hand I want my true income noted in the work sheet. Should I just leave it alone of fight for what I know is right?????Thanks!!!!

Send a note the other attorney that your income is INCORRECT and why. Also, make sure that CSE gets the information too. The attorneys may come up with numbers, but the courts have final say so.
