What is the name of your state? CA
Years after graduation the loan office at my university pulled my credit report without a permissable purpose.
Do I file suit against the loan office directly, or do I have to go after the regents of the university?
In addition to the stuatutory damages under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, what do damages for invasion of privacy usually amount to?

School was reporting a loan I've never had. I went through the disputes with the CRAs, they deleted. The inquiry was made months later. I'd like to get more than just then $1000. Afterall, they wilfully made the inquiry after knowing the tradeline was disputed.
