I just moved into an apartment (pricey too). My complaint is that there is alot of noise from interstate traffic. NObody else seems to be bothered, but my unit is on the end and there are no other apts. around it. I've called them and have asked them to move me. Of course, they are not being very helpful. Do I have any rights here? I did not sign any kind of "noise" clause.

well its kinda like... you know... you are not too bright when it comes to renting an apartment..so this is a good lesson to learn....

You knew it was near a highway, are apartments so desparate that if you didnt take it then it will be gone in the next HOUR?

Any reasonable landlord would allow you a day to make a decesion, and you could have gone and sat outside the apartment for a couple of hours at night and with the car windows open judge for yourself....

You could have packed a nice dinner, walked around the neighborhood and enjoyed the view, then tell the landlord sorry no can do. And the next sucker ... er renter would have the problem.
