One of my tenants came to me to complain about her neighbor upstairs having loud sex on weekends when her kids are at their dad's house. I have sent a letter to the "noisy" neighbor in the past notifying her that I received a noise complaint and the downstairs neighbor says that she has confronted the "noisy" neighbor about it. The upstairs neighbor came into me to complain about the downstairs neighbor being rude and violating her right to privacy by confronting her about her sex life the next morning as her male friend was leaving. Now the downstairs neighbor wants me to arrange a meeting between all three of us to discuss the noise problem. I feel that it would be humiliating to the upstairs neighbor and bordering on invading her private life.
Is there anything I can do that will satisfy the downstairs neighbor without infringing on the privacy of the upstairs neighbor?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
