Hi,
I moved to this apartment about one and a half ago and since than I am loosing sleep because of noisy neighbor (living upstairs). She walks like elephant and I can not only hear the noise but FEEL the vibration. I kindly talked to them to be more careful, no use. Complained to management, no use. Apt management inspected her apartent and she has enaugh carpeting but still walking like horse does not prevent noise. I've been waking up in awkward hours (anywhere from 2:30AM to 6:00AM) because of the noise. Couple of times I was soooo close to call police. It's like she wears wooden shoes and jumps in the house. I even RECORDED the footstep noises and had management listen it. I am loosing sleep since I moved in ans management seems that they can NOT do anything. I asked them to relocate me to another apartment today, don't know what'll happen. In the meanwhile I'd like to know my legal rights to deal with this issue. Whether through management or the tennant neighbor herself ?
I'll appreciate any kind of suggestion. Regards,
