noisy vibrating water supply pipe

I recently had an evaporative cooler installed and everytime it comes on the quarter inch(?)copper supply line they installed to an exterior water pipe/bib vibrates. Since the copper pipe is mounted to the stucco on the house the whole house sounds like a giant vibrator. My cooling contractors advice was to call a plumber. Any ideas or should I call a plumber? Thanks in advance, pw calif.
